Hello again! I know it's been awhile since I last posted something. I've been busy with the new year and work has come in the way. But I'm here now to try and put together this post about the trip me and my fiancé Mike took between Christmas and New Years Eve to Oslo.
On December 27th we took the train from Stockholm to Oslo. It's a 5 hour train ride and we got to Oslo just after 4.30pm. We then had to walk from the Oslo Centralstation to our hotel Scandic Solli, for about thirty minutes. On our way we passed through the Christmas market and the Royal Palace and even though it was cold we still had a very nice first impression of the city.
During our 3 day stay we ended up doing a lot of walking, especially between all the sights and for dinner, so I would recommend to wear comfortable shoes if you are planning a visit!
Below are the sights we managed to see, and I know we missed some of the more popular ones but our days were packed with a hundred hot chocolate and coffee breaks to escape the cold. It was a lovely short getaway though and I would love to go back but probably in the summer haha! I always find it easier to enjoy city trips in sunshine weather.
Have a great day!
